ROI Selection Guide
- 1. Contrast & Corners: Select points with sharp, high-contrast corners (e.g., dark bolts on bright steel, or X-crossing targets). Avoid smooth, monochrome surfaces.
- 2. Optimal Size: Draw the ROI bounding box around 30x30 to 50x50 pixels. Too small will lose the feature during vibration; too large will include background noise.
- 3. Background Isolation: Ensure the box is free of tree leaf movements, passing pedestrians, or dynamic shadows.
- 4. Avoid Glare: Avoid placing ROI on surfaces with high dynamic light reflection, as changing brightness can disrupt the tracker.
